I'm trying to look at my simulations in a more detailed view, but the Dviw is not opening at all, can somedy help me to get it working or try another way, thanks a lot!
Options are:
1) Use fewer output variables
DView has to load and render each output variable and meter from your simulation. If you are are say, exporting out temperatures from every surface in a large model, you are trying to import MBs of data and it will be slow to render.
2) Use a different viewer that can handle large datasets
There are better tools for viewing large .sql datasets. Tableau is the obvious one that comes to mind. Others can comment below with other suggestions.
1) I´m doing exactly that, I'm putting an eco roof and I´m tring to measure the difference of temperature from that to a regular one, but I wouldn´t say that this is a large project. There's any option I could have the outputs only for the temperatures from some surfaces?
2) I'm trying to use tableau, like you said, but it has been very hard to get the temperature results I want out of it, do you know how?

DView can be slow very slow on large files. For reference, if you let it sit for 5-10 minutes does it eventually open. Also is the SQL file from the same version EnergyPlus that DView is expected?
Now that @David Goldwasser mentions it, is it any better to open the SQL than CSV for any reason?
I didn´t know DView could handle it.
