Has anybody successfully simulated heat recovery chiller with significant heating saving through doe 2.3 the latest eQuest? I used eQuest 3.65 doe 2.2 to model a hospital with heat recovery chiller which connects to the hot water loop. It is noticed that there was a significant saving of space heating which would be affected by "MAX-RECOVER-T". However, when I used the same method to create a heat recovery chiller loop in doe 2.3, no saving was captured and changing "MAX-RECOVER-T" make no change to the results. As for the heat recovery chiller setup, any difference between doe 2.2 vs doe 2.3?
