Plant loop turn on/off chiller in same plant loop

In a chiller water plant using a combination of absorption chillers/electric power generator, we are simulating in open studio the total energy produced and consumed by the plant per year, including the time the generator is out for maintenance (and the absorption chiller), the loop has two electric chiller EIR and one absorption, i created the loop and the simulation run well, but how can i simulate the chiller out of service in the plant? I have tried with availability manager but this turedn off all the plant, How can i assign and availability manager only to one equipment?

Unfortunately, the electric EIR chiller object in EnergyPlus doesn't have an availability schedule setting like the plant loop does. However, there is a way to do what you want using setpoint temperature settings. From your plant loop image screenshot, it looks like you are using Scheduled Setpoint Managers (SPM). So, somewhere you are creating a schedule of supply temperatures you want the chillers to provide. In order to simulate maintenance time with the chiller is taken out of service, then set the supply temperature value during that out-of-service time artificially very high (100$^{\circ}$C, for example). The chiller will think that it doesn't need to turn on to provide cooling because the setpoint temperature is likely higher than whatever return temperature enters the chiller.

I would add that this technique should also be used for the cooling coils (using set point temperature schedules or availability schedule) since you would not want the pump to turn on.
