Honeybee cannot run the energyplus engine! it makes the idf file without any calculation. I have to run the idf with EP Launch then bring the analysis to the grasshopper. What should I do to get the calculation by honeybee itself?

Post a screenshot of your script, and if possible, a grasshopper script (with geometries internalized) of your problem.

There could be a lot of problems here: are you using the run EP or run OpenStudio component? Which version of OpenStudio are you using?

I've actually posted my question on that forum too. the version of my energyPlus is 8.9
