BEopt 2.8.0 outputs the incorrect area for rim joists. The HPXML spec indicates that the area should be in square feet, as with other shell areas, however it is currently giving feet-inches. i.e; rather than 10' run * 9.25" joist/12in/ft = 7.78 sq ft, it instead outputs 10'*9.25" = 92.5 ft-inches.
