developer of OpenStudio "unidentified developer"?

When I try to install OpenStudio on my Mac, the operating system tells me:

“OpenStudio-2.7.0.544f363db5-Darwin.app” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.

Is this normal, or did I download a bum version? Seems like NREL/the U.S. government should be recognized....

Fellow Mac user here. This is normal, I've gotten the same message when installing multiple OpenStudio versions in the past. For everyone else, the message @EnergyPlusEmail is referring to is below.

To get around this, you'll need to go into your machine's System Preferences / Security & Privacy / General section. You should see a window similar to the image below.

Click on the Open Anyway button on the right, and the OpenStudio installer should be able to run.

Prrety sure you can also right click the installer (or CTRL+left click) and choose "Open" in the list, and it'll ask if you're sure you want to open it.
