I can't see the drawing files on autocad 2018

When I try to open the drawing files using autocad 2018, I get this message: Unused Non-Parent Objects: OutdoorAir:Node The following are not supported: objects related to controls, AirTerminal:SingleDuct:Uncontrolled, or ZoneHVAC:IdealLoadsAirSystem Then Autocad opens a file but it's completely blank. How can I see the drawing file? I already added information for the Output Surface: Drawing object DXF Regular Polyline, and selected autocad as the drawing viewer in EP-Launch.

I think you are trying to open the SVG file. That usually contains a diagram of the HVAC system objects and how they are connected. Instead you should be opening the DXF file.

How do I open the DXF instead of the SVG?

When you use the open file dialog box select the option to show DXF files.

I also tried opening the drawing file with volo view and it says Unsupported drawing format: E:/ File name.dfx

I think the most recent version of volo view doesn't support showing DXF files. A while ago I used SolidWorks eDrawings Viewer to view DXF files.
