Energy consumption of air conditioner in a single room

I am new here, just got to know about this software. I want to measure the energy consumption of an air conditioner with variation in temperature. Kindly guide me.

You can start by reading the Getting Started document in the documentation folder (e.g., C:\EnergyPlusV8-9-0\Documentation). In the root folder (e.g., C:\EnergyPlusV8-9-0) open EP-Launch and under Input File click the Browse button. Goto the example files folder (e.g., C:\EnergyPlusV8-9-0\ExampleFiles) and look for WindACAuto.idf or WindACRHControl.idf and select either file. Then click the Simulate button. After the simulation executes open the Tables and Variables files to review the results.
