I am a PhD student, I am working on simulation-based optimization using EnergyPlus coupled with GenOpt. So, I am trying to define constraints in Genopt to study multi-objective optimization. I have not been able to get a clear understanding of "Weighted sum method" and "penalty method" by reading the GenOpt manual. Can you help me with some examples. Thanks in advance!
