how can I setup a CV based heating system running with water, heating wall radiators in different thermal zones ?

I have a residential building that I would like to heat with a gas burned CV system, heating up the different spaces and thermal zones with hot water running through wall mounted radiators, typical construction in the Netherlands. This same gas burned CV is used for heating up the domestic hot water supply. How can I model that in OpenStudio ?

I've found 2 helpful things on top of your 1. A presentation, see attached link with all presentations and there is one is about Radiant Systems. http://apps1.eere.energy.gov/building... 2. The library with all definitions on http://bigladdersoftware.com/epx/docs...

If I understand your question correctly, here's one option to try. The boiler loop supplies hot water to ZoneHVACBaseboardConvectiveWater and HeatExchangerFluidToFluid objects. The SHW loop is heated by the HX from the boiler loop and a WaterHeaterMixed object.

This configuration is meant to model a storage SHW system where supplemental heat is supplied by a boiler through a HX inside the tank.

I didn't add the SHW loop, but just the baseboard HW coils with the HW boiler loop. That works well for me, thanks for the support.
