TDV calculations in Open Studio
Can I use the TDV calculation measure in Open Studio for Title 24 compliance to submit for a permit? Or should it be only from CEC approved software? Are the TDV multipliers used in OpenStudio same as Cbecc-Com? Also, is Ktdv same as KBtu?

If for California Permit Compliance, than an approved software must be used. Native OpenStudio is not one of those (link text. Even though CBECCcom will generate OS & E+ files during simulation, they cannot be used directly for compliance. (note: IESVE and EnergyPro will also generate OS & E+ files since they too must run thru CBECCcom, but thats another story). I do not know if TDV calculations in OS are same as CA-T24 factors. CA TDV factors available online, so could manually compare?
