Is it possible to run the Simulation in OpenStudio without taking into consideration the values of solar, thermal, and visible absorptance of building materials ?
Hi, I am currently entering the values of the thickness, density and specific heat of building materials but I don't have those of absorptance, I would like to ignore them but I always find defaults in green. Is it possible to configure the program so that it does not take into account these values during the simulation? Thank you

What are you trying to model? If you want to just model a box with just internal loads served by an air system, you could use no mass objects and set the surfaces to be adiabatic.
I am actually trying to model a residential building of 4 stories.
If you are modeling a residential building, you want to include the influence of solar insolation, thermal mass, and heat transfer through building materials. So keep the defaults, or look up values for absorptance for your materials. The values from the default library should be correct.
Is there somewhere to check out these values of absorptance?
Default materials library on BCL and/or the ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals.
