insulating contruction and contruction sets

I'm simulading a house in OpenStudio and i have a problem with the results. I add insulating in the walls for down the loss of heat, but when i run the program the inside temperature don't change, i don't understand why. Maybe I'm doning wrong '' contructions set''.

the house only has one floor and i don't understand the difference between ''exterior surface construction'' and ''ground contact surface construction'' in my case for is only one floor this is the same ?

If you have an HVAC system defined in your building, then the inside temperature will not change. What will change is the amount of energy used to provide that heating or cooling.

Exterior Surface Constructions are above-ground, with air as the outside boundary condition. Ground Surface Constructions are below-ground, with soil/ground as the outside boundary conditions, e.g. basement walls and basement slabs.

how much insulation (from what R-value to what R-value?), where is the building located? How much are the interior temperatures changing (delta degrees Celsius)?

I added in the wall two ''air gap material'' of 0.1 m^2*K/m. The building is located in Lebrija-Santander-Colombia in a tropical climate. is very down the ''R-value''?
