How does one make Pat Measures cumulative?

Hello, How does on make Pat Measures cumulative?
When applying OS Measures I have noticed that there seems to be no way to have a measure apply to the previous in a cumulative chain fashion. i.e. The last measure in a group does not retain changes that were already made which would affect the output.

When you are on the design alternative tab select all the measures you want to string together and choose "Make one from selected measures".
