exterior convection for inclined wall

If I have inclined walls in my models, is EnergyPlus by default automatically calculate the exterior convection coefficient using the Emmel or Blocken method? Note: I'm not inputting anything for the SurfaceConvectionAlgorithm:Outside

Thanks

From the Engineering Reference, the following algorithms will account for surface tilt when calculating exterior convection coefficients:

These algorithms can be used by adding a SurfaceConvectionAlgorithm:Outside object to your input file. Without this object, EnergyPlus will use the DOE-2 algorithm by default.

Thanks Aaron. furthermore, I think there's something missing in the engineering reference on page 47 that explaining the DOE-2 for exterior convection.

------"h is calculated using Equation or Equation ..."------

which equations?

Thank you

Best regards,

@teguh511 sorry to take so long to respond. It looks that way in both the raw PDF and online formats, but my guess is that it is referencing the $h_{c,glass}$ equation above and $h_{c}$ equation below that line of text you reference.
