I'm trying to use rvu.exe but it can't run and gives the following error
I'm using Radiance v5.1 and Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit. I tried to use it in cmd and/or double click the exe file in the bin folder. Both cases show this error. I also tried it on another computer, still same problem.
Am I using it in a wrong way or is it something with my system setting? Thanks.
That's a known issue, and it isn't something you're doing wrong or something wrong with your system. It's an installer issue that cropped up when we upgraded Visual Studio versions to support one of the other programs. We are going to try to get it addressed in the pretty near term. Apologies for the inconvenience. @rpg777 or I will update you here when we've got a fix.
@XChen Apologies for the long delay, but we have a fix in the works that addresses this. We have a few more things to work out, so a fixed release will take a little bit longer.
Just following up. Looks like @rpg777 posted an update in April and I can confirm that I no longer get the issue with the 5.2 installer.
