What is the "composition" of electric equipment definition in the electric load templates?

While applying loads, I am using 90.1 templates' values for my office building model. For example 7.64 W/m2 of floor area is defined for an open office electric equipment. I would like to know what the considered appliances are and what the distribution ratio for example for computers is. Where can I find this detailed information?

As David eluded to, most plug loads are considered "unregulated" loads by Standard 90.1. The data sources for inputs to the Prototype Building Models can be found in the accompanying Scorecard XLS spreadsheets.

In the case of the Office PBM, the data source for the plug load is the 90.1-2004 User's Manual, which may or may not have more detail about where the W/m2 value comes from. The ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals also has heat gain values and distributions for appliances and equipment.

Plug loads are not determined by 90.1 in the same way as LPD, so different valid templates may have different valid EPD values and breakdown. I wasn't able to quickly find a detailed list for the DOE prototype buildings, but Table. 3.3 of the Technical Support Document for ASHRAE AEDG: 50% Energy Savings Design for Medium Office Buildings has a Office Equipment Inventory list with a quantity and power value for each equipment type. The baseline office has 8.07 W/m^2 not too far off from the 7.64 you refer to.
