IDF file error using OpenStudio
I tried to run a simulation in OpenStudio, however there is a fatal error because of the IDF file. When I tried to export the IDF file directly from Sketchup in order to resolve the problem, I encountered the following warnings: Warnings occurred on translation to EnergyPlus Warning: OS_ProgramControl is not currently translated
I also tried to import the IDF file to OS but I received the following message: C:\fakepath\fatal error.JPG
How can I solve this problem? Thanks

What is the EnergyPlus fatal error you see when you run EnergyPlus. The warnings you see re-importing an IDF back into OpenStudio are expected. You can't go OSM to IDF to OSM and get the same OSM back. You lose a lot of objects.
Clarification:I am running the simulation via Openstudio and not directly from Energyplus. I encountered the fatal error in the simulation - it doesn't specify exactly what the problem is, but says: **FATAL:IP: Errors occurred on processing IDF file. Preceding condition(s) cause termination. EnergyPlus Run Time=00hr 00min 1.02sec Failed. When I saw there was a problem with the IDF file I tried to export IDF file from skechup in order to see what the problem was. Then I saw the messages: Warnings occurred on translation to EnergyPlus Warning: OS_ProgramControl is not currently translated
Look at the eplusout.err file as described here.. I'm not sure why you are getting program control warning on export, but I don't think that is why your simulation is failing.
The eplusout.err shows errors in the HVAC system, such as in CONTROLLER:MECHANICAL VENTILATION and SETPOINTMANAGER:SINGLEZONE:REHEAT etc. Even when I changed the HVAC system (with no reheat by the way) or even when deleted it and ran a simulation, the errors seem to be the same.
Is there a way to attach the OSM file and/or the eplusout.err, as I still haven't solved the problem? Thank you
