Humidifying Setpoint Schedule

Dear all,

Does anybody have the problem of adding humidifying setpoint schedule?

I am simulating a 10-story building with air-side economizer (fixed dewpoint and dry bulb control) and would like to control the humidity in zone. I made a humidifying setpoint schedule and successfully added it to first 5 random zones (no matter that the zone is). However, when i was trying to add the schedule to other zones, it failed and the previous zones also lost the schedules. When I ran the model, there was also error saying all the zones were lack of humidify schedules. I don't know what's the problem, anybody has this experience? Thanks.

Best wishes,

Yan

When defining the schedules to be used by the humidistat be sure to define the unit type for the schedule as 'percent'. See this post for more details:

This is a bug in 1.5.0 which should be fixed in 1.6.0 due to be released soon. I would suggest removing all humidity objects in your model for now and wait to try it out in 1.6.0.

1.6.0 is posted, but I'm concerned this might be something other than the issue @MatthewSteen reported and I fixed. Let us know if the issue persists.

Hi Kyle, I'm using version 1.7.0 and am facing the exact same issue. I also cannot specify "humidifying setpoint schedule". Whenever I specify a schedule and click "apply to selected", the schedule disappears.

Moreover, I am trying to model an evaporative cooler and cannot find the option for specifying a humidistat, say e.g. "ZoneControl:humidistat".

Kindly help us out with this. Thank you in advance.
