Pumps energy consumptions, Leed proposed vs baseline
Hi everybody,
I'm working on a model in DesignBuilder. In the plant there is a supply manifold provided by several pumps. Can I model those pumps separately or must I model a single pump?
In this last case, do I have to sum each single pump power to insert the total power? I have variable speed pumps, so should I average the performances curves?
Should I model also pumps energy consumption for DCW?

I don´t use design builder. But it works with energyplus engine. And within energyplus you can model a single pump and manifolded pump assembly. And a manifolded pump assembly is a set of pumps in parallel with common inlet and outlet nodes.
