All electric HVAC system?

  • retag add tags

Dear all,

I need to simulate an all electric HVAC system for a little single zone, in order to have the final electricity consumption to attend the nominal energy needs for cooling and heating. I need it electric as output on the software to make the distribution control with the energy generators (PV).

I found some Unitary system but used natural gas and I cant see the option to change the fuel to Electricity. Can someone help, please?

Which system should I use? Or how do I change the fuel of a basic HVAC system to be all electric?

Kind regards, Karol

Hi @kabot it would be helpful to include a tag for the software you plan on using, since that could influence answers.

You could consider using PTHP/PTAC (using electric for heating coil) for your small single zone. It is a single zone equipment and does not involve any systems. So you can generate a result pretty quickly without any trouble.
