Using Open Studio, how does one orient the models and set the NSEW axis? I have already created the models, and will need to orient them appropriately.
This will be useful to examine seasonal daylighting and shading appropriately.
You can change the "North Axis" in the OpenStudio application using the "Facility Tab" in "Building" subtab. If you want to alter this for a parametric analysis there is a rotate building measure.

How do we check which axis point is north, though? So I can change the North Axis 90, 180, 270, etc. no problem, but how do we tell where it is established initially?
North is whatever direction in degrees you enter for "North Axis". On the screenshot above absolute or site North is the positive direction on the y axis (the solid green line). In this case I entered 20 for "North Axis" for the building. A positive value rotates Building North counterclockwise.
May I ask for further clarifications?
So the true north/real north will always be the direction of the solid green line, the orange line shown in SketchUp is the building north? Whether it means that although building is shown as aligns to the solid green line, in e+ simulation, it is rotated to align with the orange line?

@Amy Lee the orange line is north. The green line could be called plan north, or just the north for the buildings xyz coordinate system. If you look in comments of other post it clarifies that the orange line and not the green line represent north. If your building rotation field is set to 0, then the orange line doesn't show up at all and there is only the green line. In that situation the green line for plan north also happens to be true north.
