Trouble in setting “DElight” and “illuminance map” in E+

hi sorry to ask this question again

  1. when i set " illuminance map",Problems occurred:(before that,things went well)
  2. when i choose "DElight",failed, err files displays "Zone Name in Output:IlluminanceMap is not used for Daylighting:Controls=THERMAL ZONE 5" I don't know WHY.image description
  3. when i choose "SplitFlux",failed,too Energyplus just Crashed.

Output:IlluminanceMap only works with SplitFlux daylighting. When I changed it to that, I received an error:

CloseReportIllumMaps: Illuminance maps requested but no data ever reported. Likely cause is no solar.

Which you might want to look into. When I upgraded the file to 8.7, I got the same error.

Sorry, I cannot replicate the crash you saw.

Thanks for your replication, it's very useful.

  1. IDF file miss the RunPeriod Object, and I refreshed it.
  2. "SplitFlux" is chose, When I close "Output:IlluminanceMap", that's alright,
  3. When I turn on "Output:IlluminanceMap", E+ crashed again.
  4. I don't find the resolution for "No Solar".
