Modelica Buildings Library BESTEST cases

Hello,

I am a new user of Modelica, so the answer to my question might be obvious to you. It's the first time that I am using this forum as well.

I am looking the BESTEST Case 600 model and specifically the component Modelica.Blocks.Sources.CombiTimeTable. In this model, the setpoint temperature for heating or cooling is been set manual, by using a static setpoint. I am interested in including a variable as input for the setpoint temperature, so, for instance, having different setpoint for every month/day/hour. However, when I am using a variable, T_com, as an input, I am getting the error below: "The variability of the definition equation: combiTimeTable.table = T_com; is higher than the declared variability of the ". When I am changing the input to a parameter my model is working. Could you please advice me how to solve this issue?

Thank you in advance.

I don't understand what you mean by "...using a variable, T_com, and an input..." but if you like to have an hourly profile, it will be easiest to make a text file and read this file from CombiTimeTable, using the parameter tableOnFile and fileName. The model http://simulationresearch.lbl.gov/mod... uses such a construct.
