I assume not as much of that functionality was built into 2.0. It would be useful however to check correct spreadsheet syntax for ones generated by other means.
No PAT 2.x doesn't export to an analysis spreadsheet. For almost all use cases, the intent with PAT 2.x is that you just switch the analysis from "Manual" to "Algorithmic mode as shown here.
David's correct. Beginning with 2.1.0, PAT is able to author the same JSON that the spreadsheet generated. PAT provides better user guidance and constraints than the hand-edited spreadsheet. If there are things you find you can't do in PAT that you did with the spreadsheet, please let the team know, but it should be a 1:1 replacement.
