Problems exporting idf from open studio
Hello! I am working on a model in SketchUp with the Open Studio Plugin. In order to simulate it in Energy Plus I want to export it as an .idf file. when I click on “export EnergyPlus idf file” it opens a window where it asks me to name the file and the saving location, but once I click on save nothing has been saved and there is no file and also no error message.. Has anyone had a similar problem? Thank you so much!!

What version of OpenStudio are you using (one what has OSM files or just IDF?). Also is there anything unique about the location you are trying to save the file, if you try to save the file somewhere else like your desktop, does that work? Do you know it didn't save because you looked at the directory, or is it because you want to EP launch and tried to open the file? I'm asking this last question to see if the file was saved without the ".idf" extension.
