Dear All I'm reading about the solid desiccant cooling systems for humid climates. I wonder that most of configurations have the COP lower than 1. For humid climates, another option is to use heat pump to lower the air temperature below the dew point to condense it's moisture and increase this temperature using a heater. Is the COP of such systems lower than desiccant cooling systems? If no , what is the advantage of solid desiccant cooling systems ? Thank you
