Glass Sliding Patio Doors in BEopt

I am currently attempting to model glass sliding patio doors on the exterior of a multifamily unit and am having no luck in creating an exterior door. I realize that there also does not exist an option to create a glass door, so I am proceeding with adjusting the U-value to attempt a semi-more accurate representation.

Is there a way to specify doors to an exterior facade?

Thanks for the help! Matt

Instead of using the doors category, I'd recommend increasing the window area appropriately.

Thanks Eric. That is something that we considered (and will likely settle with doing moving forward), but we were hoping to maintain a percentage of standard glazing on the facades with glass patio doors while varying the properties of the patio doors themselves (U-value and SHGC). Unfortunately, I don't think BEopt allows you to include windows with two different property sets on the same facade, or at least to my knowledge.

That's correct. BEopt allows different glazing properties on different facades, but not on the same facade. I'd recommend using a weighted average U-value and SHGC.
