Illogical infiltration heat addition and removal results in EP

I am using OS to model an office building with EP. I have problems interpretating the results linked to the infiltration. I use the design flow rate method for infiltration. The design flow rate model is flow/exterior wall area. My building model is devided into 4 zones. One zone faces the south (TZ1) and one the north (TZ2) orientation, one represents the core (TZ3) and one represents the unconditioned shafts (see picture bellow). image description

In the Outdoor air summary results, the infiltraion rate for the core zone (TZ3) is zero, which is logical based on the design flow rate model (picture bellow) image description

The illogical part here is when in check the sensible heat gain summary. Here the infiltration heat addition and removal for the core zone is much larger then for the "exterior" zones.

Has anybody got an explanation for this?

It looks like you're using ZoneVentilation:DesignFlowRate since you have no Mechanical Ventilation, but you do have Simple Ventilation. I believe that this is going to be reported as Infiltration in the Sensible Heat Gains Summary. That value being the largest is consistent with your Outdoor Air table since you have the highest total outdoor air ACH in that zone (0.982 vs 0.553 and 0.454). I could be wrong though, that's just a guess.

I think that's supported by the I/O reference description of the table, The value under 'Infiltration Heat Addition & Heat Removal' comes from the output variable Zone Air Heat Balance Outdoor Air Transfer Rate.

Jp, this explains it. I increased the infiltration rate, and the results changed drasticaly for the exterior zones, but not for the core zone.
