Heating/cooling sizing factor when using ideal air loads in Open Studio?

I am using ideal air loads in my model. When i changed the heating sizing factor and cooling sizing factor to 1.00, the results for heating and cooling energy did not change (End Uses).

Does this mean that no system energy losses are taken into account for the heating and cooling system when using ideal air loads ?

Because in the end results the total site and net site energy are equal (also total an net source energy).

Please do not include greetings like "thx in advance" per our convention (see here).

Also, tags should be used when they are appropriate: unless you're actually talking about something in sketchup, don't include this tag. But do include existing tags that are appropriate such as hvac-sizing and ideal-loads-air-system

As the name implies, Ideal Loads Air System is ideal. Refer to the Input/Reference guide for more information: ZoneHVAC:IdealLoadsAirSystem

This component can be thought of as an ideal unit that mixes air at the zone exhaust condition with the specified amount of outdoor air and then adds or removes heat and moisture at 100% efficiency in order to produce a supply air stream at the specified conditions. The energy required to condition the supply air is metered and reported as DistrictHeating and DistrictCooling.

OK, that is why the total site and net site energy are the same. Tnx
