solar collector panel to DHW

Can I integrate a solar collector panel exclusively to service hot water in OpenStudio.

Yeah, create a plant loop, connect a solar collector to the supply side, connect a water use connection to the demand side, and add your water use equipment to this water use connection.

@aparker I am using openStudio and I did like that but I got severe error saying PlantEquipmentList="PLANT LOOP 1 HEATING EQUIPMENT LIST", invalid component specification. ** ~~~ ** Equipment 1 Name is blank.
