How to apply "air_wall_zone_mixing" measure for a subsurface object

I have two thermal zones that I would like to mix them by a door(opening) between them. image description

Then I changed the construction of my door to Air wall and I applied the measure "air_wall_zone_mixing" but I got this warning that is showed in the image below. image description

I would like to know that how can I fix this warning? because I need the conductive heat transfers between my two zones. Thanks in advance for any answers!

This is the expected behavior of the measure. As you can read in the description: "Zone mixing objects will also be made for sub-surface air walls, but they can't be made adiabatic unless their base surface also is. A warning will be issued if that happens."

If you want to apply the measure to a subsurface without conductive transfer, you have to set the constructions of the two based surfaces to 'Adiabatic'. Else you can keep it like this to have both air mixing and conductive transfer.

Thank you @Urado, now I got it, When I want to apply this measure, it ask me about cross mixing coefficient that is 1 in default, I do not know what is this but may I leave it 1 and skip it or I had to assign a proper number for this part? regarding to image on top.

All you need to know about this measure is presented in the documentation. I think the pdf provided with the measure will answer your question better than I can.
