OpenStudio/EnergyPlus as comfort calculator

Is there a plan to develop comfort calculator for OpenStudio and/or EnergyPlus? I am thinking something like illumination map in daylighting. We simply define a grid, and the comfort will be calculated as per ASHRAE 55, with actual view factor for every grid point for the MRT. Thoughts?

I think Chip Barnaby was working on something like that for an ASHRAE research project at one point. I'm not sure if it was ever released, you might try contacting Chip.
