Yes, if you want to add a PTHP or PTAC just add it on the Thermal Zones tab next to the diffuser.
One thing that's really important and somewhat lacking in the GUI right now is the ability to see and modify the underylyingZoneHVAC:EquipmentList (see docs). This objects serves to basically specify all the equipments serving the zone and the cooling and heating order of these.
If you only want to use the GUI, you must be very careful about the order in which you'll add equipment to the zone. That's the order you'll see on the thermal tab, but also the order that you will actually have for the heating AND cooling sequence (not possible to have a difference between heating and cooling sequences).
