Chiller heater heat transfer to campus chilled water system.

We want to evaluate a central heat pump which follows the building heating load and transfer the resulting chilled water to the campus chilled water loop. How can I go about modeling this.

The specific equipment we are using is: Multistack heat recovery chiller

There have been similar questions HERE and HERE that relate to district heating loops receiving recovered heat from HVAC equipment. For your case, the central water-to-water heat pump (WWHP) has a heating stream and a cooling stream. The heating stream can easily be connected to the building itself directly. To connect the cooling stream to the campus chilled water loop, you will need to use an intermediate water-to-water heat exchanger (WWHX). This WWHX should be placed on the supply side of the campus chilled water loop, with the "use side" being the campus chilled water loop and the "source side" being the intermediate loop from WWHP to WWHX. Reference the figure below.

Since you used the tag for "chiller-heater", I assume that you intend to use the Chiller Heater Electric object in EnergyPlus as the WWHP.
