Changing period simulation

Hi! I made my first building model using sketchup and now I’m using OpenStudio to make simulations. My goal is to predict building consumptions for next day(s)/week using real weather data(next days forecast) and then try to optimize HVAC consumption by changing the setpoints. Can you tell me how is possible to make simulations for just 1 day/week?

There is a "Simulation Settings" tab in OpenStudio where you can set the start and end of your simulation (reference screen shot below).

If you plan on using your own weather file instead of a TMY file, make sure that to have simulation parameters set up correctly in the "Site" tab in OpenStudio. You'll want to select your weather file in the top left, then select the appropriate first day of the year in the top right (reference screen shot below). Selecting "Calendar Year" allows you to input utility bill data, if you want to do that.

You can also check a related simulation period question HERE for more info.
