how to add measure to the prototype building model and see whether it is effecting the model by seeing the IDF files generated

I am working on Measures in Openstudio. During my work i have to apply measure in one of the openstudio model and see the result in IDF files whether is there any change by adding measure. But i was unable to figure out the change. so I would appreciate if any one of you can help in finding out the change in IDF fiels.

I know that previously when I applied a measure to reduce electrical load in a model in OpenStudio. The reduction didn't follow to the IDF file that I exported for further use. I had to manually apply the reduction if that means anything to you.

I would pay attention to the info and warning logs of the measures you run. That should give a good indication . There is also a measure that will report model changes between two models, but it works with OSM files instead of IDF files.

If you are applying a measure as part of the simulation workflow then that measure will only run when you simulate your model. You can run the simulation, then navigate to the EnergyPlus directory and find the final simulated IDF file there. If it is not there, look up one directory and into the EnergyPlusPreProcess directory that runs right before the EnergyPlus job.

Note that this won't really help you until the OpenStudio versions of the prototype buildings are complete

Any determination as to when the OpenStudio versions of the prototype buildings are complete? I looking for instance for the Hospital model.
