Change all interior walls to air walls

Since I watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9KnL... I tried to turn all my interior walls into air walls, but my version is newer than the video (mine is 1.9) and when I click de wrench button a differnt windows appears.

Does anyone know how can I do this?

And what is an air wall?

Thanks in advance

That's a nice link @Julien Marrec. FYI - I made a measure to show off zone mixing that uses air walls and interior windows to add in zone mixing objects. The measure also turns walls adiabatic so you don't double up with both condition and air transfer where the really is no conduction. Not published yet, but I can get it up soon if there is interest.

I'd try it out for sure.

@Julien Marrec, the Air Wall Zone Mixing Measure is up on BCL. There is more documentation in a PDF in the "resources" directory.

I also fixed a bug on Fan Assist Night Ventilation measure that uses both zone ventilation and zone mixing. It also has a pdf in the resources directory. It is a bit experimental. Originally written for use with un-conditioned building.

Thanks. I like the PDF explanation!

Using the OpenStudio application you can just change the default interior wall construction for the default construction set for your building. There should be a construction named "Air Wall" in the library. See documentation on construction set here.

For newer videos on basic workflow checkout this playlist and the "What's New on OpenStudio 1.x" playlists here.

@David Goldwasser The Air wall construction has no properties listed in terms of conductivity, etc. Is that how it should be? or should I use the measure "Air wall Zone mixing" ?
