In my project with openstudio 1.9.0 when i try to go to "spaces" tab it takes a lot of time, many times it crash. This is normal? In my project I have 240 spaces, 2270 surfaces and 412 subsurfaces.
I'm using windows 7, 2,6 GHz processor and 4GB RAM.
This is related to the "grid view" capability that was added throughout the application in release 1.9.0. The spaces tab contains a great deal of information that is being polled from the model for display in that tab, and a delay is typical when that information is being retrieved. The larger your model, the longer this can take. That said, the team has been profiling this portion of the code and performance improvements will be included in release 1.10.0.
I look forward for this? What's the release date expectation of version 1.10.0.
1.10.0 is due out mid-December, and those improvements should show up in the next minor release - possibly as early as next week if you're feeling adventurous.

I have also noticed that the space tab can take a long time to populate in OS 1.9.0.
