Connect condenser loop to radiant surfaces in Design Builder.

Hi! I am trying to connect radiant floors and ceilings to supply water cooled by cooling towers or ground HX in Design Builder. Since the software doesn't let you connect condenser loops to chilled beams or radiant surfaces, is there any workaround to solve this problem?

you can connect condenser loops to chilled water and hot water loops and then make your connections. Use ideal HX in the chilled and hot water loops.

Thanks for the reply. I think I didnt frame the question clearly. I am actually trying to avoid using chilled water loops/hot water loops and directly connect condenser water loops to the radiant surface (since our experimental setup uses this method to prevent condensation)

OK. Are you trying to use the radiant floors for heating? If so, how does that work with GHX or Cooling Tower? I suppose a closed loop GHX could provide some cooling in a chilled beam.

Regardless, you can make the connections with hot water loops and chilled water loops, remove the boiler or chiller and use an ideal fluid heat exchanger and configure so these loops are simply pass through. connect the fluid HX to the condenser loops.

I am trying to use the cooling tower water for directly cooling the chilled beams and radiant cooled floors. so, essentially the water temperatures are higher than chilled water loops and provide cooling degree, but the aim is to use this higher water temperature from the cooling tower to prevent condensation in our experiments.
