Hourly direct normal and diffuse horizontal radiation illuminance values are pulled out of the epw file (with the Radiance utility epw2wea) and saved as a "DAYSIM format" .wea file. This .wea file is then passed directly to the Radiance simulation tools (mainly gendaylit).).
