In OpenStudio you can leave all the SetpointManager:MixedAirs off of the loop and they will automagically be created for you upon translation to IDF. At this time, the nodes inside of the unitary system are accessible to the translator and can be setup correctly. This should be working correctly for unitary systems as of 1.7.0 or greater, per the closure of this issue by @Kyle Benne..
